For professional achievement as Electrical Repair Branch Supervisor, Support Equipment Division, Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, Naval Air Station, Alameda, California from December 1990 to December 1993. Petty Officer Tudela performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. Displaying exceptional motivation and the highest level of technical skill, he coordinated and performed numerous generator load tests required to certify the helicopter service power sources of several U.S. Navy and Coast Guard vessels. Demonstrating superb organizational and administrative abilities, he developed and implemented an effective tracking and index system for over 500 technical publications, instructions and directives. As a direct result, his publications program was graded Outstanding during the 1992 Commander, Strike Fighter Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet Management Inspection. Additionally, he provided flawless Support Equipment Logistical assistance to "Air Force One" during the visits of President Bush and Clinton to Naval Air Station, Alameda. Petty Officer Tudela's professionalism and devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
